External Results

The external results feature in FAID Quantum allows you to import your own external results data to be reviewed in conjunction with the predicted KSS and FAID Score at the time of result.

This allows the possibility of analysing data and reviewing if fatigue is a factor relating to events such as:

  • Accidents
  • Incidents
  • Errors
  • Near misses
  • Excessive braking
  • Complaints
  • Absenteeism
  • Sick leave

It also allows external measures of fatigue like self-reported KSS and PVT to be analysed against predicted KSS and FAID Scores to review correlations.

Examples of External Results Use

Using a large data set of incidents and hours of work, one organisation was able to identify an increasing trend in incident rates (incidents per million hours worked) with increases of FAID Scores beyond 40 and predicted KSS Scores beyond 7.

And a study* of public complaints against a city’s police force found a correlation of complaints rates against predicted KSS & FAID Scores.
